The adventures of a young-ish female UK photographer! Enjoy!

This is a set from my last shoot from the island with Charlotte https://www.facebook.com/CharlottteModel?fref=ts with the makeup done by Ruth Hawkins https://www.facebook.com/harmonyruth?fref=ts . We were after a monochromatic look with a bit of a Cruella DeVille thrown in!

Happy Easter!

This is Ulorin Vex wearing a lovely taxidermy hairpiece made by the talented Sophie Adamson Art & Accessories. I’ve had mixed reactions in response to these images due to the dead bunny.

Sophie doesn’t kill animals - they’re ethically sourced and already dead. I certainly don’t agree with killing animals solely for their fur but if an animal is already dead, I personally don’t see an issue with it.

Some of you may be aware that I have accepted a job away from the Isle of Wight. I had my interview yesterday and I was called back two hours later with the offer of a job which I was delighted to take.

I shall be moving to London (Heathrow sort of area) and there will be plenty of more opportunity to do photoshoots with decent models. The Isle of Wight is incredible restrictive as the boat and bus cost too much money. Consequently, I don’t get to travel as much as I would like to for shoots and models cannot afford to come down to me. I am pleased that this will no longer be a barrier and expect loads more photoshoots this year!

I should be moving next month at some point.

A local friend of mine is a clothing designer and she brought along her UV green harness and pasties for Ulorin Vex to model!

I was pleased that Sophie Adamson Art & Accessories agreed to collaborate with me for the Ulorin Vex shoot. She sent me along a couple of awesome hair pieces.

I must say that I was impressed with the quality of this hairpiece. Sophie had glued on rhinestones on to the petals and the skull has a flock texture! Sophie has an Etsy - check it out!

Ulorin Vex is probably my favourite alt model of all time. I have followed her work for about 7 years now. She has gone from strength to strength and has moved to LA since. She came over from LA earlier this year and I was lucky to book her for a couple of hours. We got loads of looks done.

This is Ulorin Vex modelling this gorgeous plum latex underwear from Pandora Deluxe Latex’s new range who takes orders!

This was shot in my living room.

One of the images I did with Miss Miranda has been published on the cover of DDI Magazine! Considering I am only starting to get my work published, I am pretty chuffed I have got a cover for a worldwide magazine :)

Model: Miss Miranda

Outfit: Lady Lucie Latex

Boots: Fabulously Fetish

I have known Miss Deadly Red for years but have never gotten round to photographing her due to lack of latex clothing. I was arranging a shoot with another model and it turned out that she did not want to do underwear levels (which I am cool with). With a week until Valentines Day (deadline for the images), I then thought of approaching Miss Deadly Red who luckily works up to underwear levels.

As you can see, the underwear has 8-bit hearts on them so I wanted to do something a bit nerdy but fitting in with the Valentines theme.

I shot these in my living room! All of which are a one light set up.

Here are some more from that shoot.

Two weeks ago, I went up to London to photograph Roswell Ivory. I’ve been familiar with her work for a few years now so it was a pleasure to finally meet her and photograph her! It was also good to see Leanne again - we have been friends for years now! As always, she does fantastic makeup. Please book her. She even does airbrush makeup for flawless skin!

Agra, India

Back in 2009, I went on a trip to India for about 17 days. It was my first holiday abroad without my parents so it was quite an adventure for me!

I flew into Delhi. However, I only stayed there for one night so I didn’t see much of it. To be honest, I wasn’t really impressed with what I did see and being tired from about 15 hours of travel probably didn’t help.

Anyway on Day 2, we were due to go to Agra to see the Taj Mahal! We woke up at 4am to catch the train to Agra which took about 2 hours. However when getting off the train, you really had to battle your way off the train with all of your luggage. People were trying to get on to the train with their own suitcases. I finally managed to get off and then the train left! If I didn’t off when I did, I would have ended up God knows where which is quite a scary thought!

The Taj Mahal itself was stunning and was not a disappointment. It was huge and it was so busy there with local people which was unexpected! I think it might have been a holiday time in India when we went or lots of school trips.

I recommend visiting.

This is Part 2 of the Weston Manor shoot. See below for Part 1.

This is inside the main living room and dining area. You will agree that the room has gorgeous natural light. The dining area will hold probably about 12 people in total.

Models are Sam, Nicola, Lindsay and Becky
MUA: Ruth Hawkins
Hair: Donna Jones
Location: Weston Manor
Clothing Supplier: With Love Betty

I was kindly invited to a photoshoot by Martin Wilkins of Wight Photography. I was pretty glad to get involved as there were a number of local ladies who were willing to model and some Isle of Wight companies who wanted to promote their goods. The shoot was on all day so of course, there are a number of images to edit so this entry will have to come in parts.

This is quite a different style to my usual work but I like to show that I am versatile and am capable of different photographic genres.

A shot of the lovely Sarah Rae who came to stay (ooh that rhymed!). I have been toying with the idea of a peacock theme for a while now and luckily Ruth Hawkins, a local MUA was interested in collaborating.Eye makeup was done to compliment the peacock colours.
